Stonehaven Vessel with crackle glaze. Large.

The Stonehaven Vessel series are inspired by rocks found on Stonehaven beach in Aberdeenshire. Made by the talented Hannah Spicer.

These pieces are one of a kind: no two are the same and each one is numbered on the underside of the piece and stamped with the makers mark. They are glazed in a white crackle glaze contrasting with the darker speckled clay under it.  The crackle glaze feels organic, each crack, each line is different on each vessel.

The interior of the vessel is finished in a transparent glaze.   

These are unusual vases or vessels; both unique and decorative inspired by the Scottish coast and handmade in Ayrshire, Scotland.

They wonderfully show off a few flowers/ dried grasses and stems as seen in some of the photos.   

Each piece will come with a little postcard explaining a little about the process.
