Cyanotype Art & Yoga

Cyanotype
The Cyanotype process is one of the earliest methods of photography sometimes called sun printing or “blueprint” due to the colour produced. Invented in 1842 By Sir Robert Herchel and in 1843 Anna Atkins created the first book of Cyanotypes.
I love experimenting with the endless possibilities. I create cyanotype designs on fabrics as well as paper and enjoy developing finishes such as metallic inks, embroidery and fringing. -
Yoga
My yoga practice started more than 25 years ago. I became passionate about yoga, when I realised the holistic benefits of regular
practice. I am a 500 hour trained Yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I have been teaching yoga since
2017 here in Langholm, Dumfries & Galloway. I have since completed a Gentle Years Yoga
training in 2021 and Yin Yoga Teacher training in 2024.I like to create a warm friendly
atmosphere in classes and encourage everyone to connect with
their individual experience on the mat. Practicing yoga in a group is always
rewarding promoting connection, community
and fun.
